A Guide to Community Based Habitat Restoration, July 30
The California Coastal Commission is holding a free workshop in Newport Beach on community-based habitat restoration.
The workshop will cover the basics of restoration and will focus on the elements involved in starting volunteer-based
projects, based on the California Coastal Commission's how-to manual, "Digging In: A Guide to Community-Based
Habitat Restoration". The workshop will also provide opportunities for sharing your projects and networking
with like-minded practitioners in the area. Friday, July 30, 9am-2pm, Back Bay Science Center, Upper Newport Bay
